Silex Technology has unveiled a new device that allows the user to share up to 15 USB devices via a Gigabit Ethernet interface using TCP/IP protocol. The adapter allows the sharing of all sorts of USB devices like speakers, monitors, and webcams on a network via a USB interface. The Silex device is called the SX-3000GB. Using the adapter any USB device can be connected to the network and shared. The gadget would make a nice print server. It features a pair of USB 2.0 ports and up to one amp of USB power for powering gadgets.
