SteelSeries has a complete line of gear for gamers and computer users ranging from computer mice to mouse pads and other items in between. At CES today the company has unveiled a new mouse pad that is water and stain resistant. That should mean your mouse pad will stay clean when you are working with a Dr. Pepper in one hand and a bag of Doritos in the other, not that I do that sort of thing.

The mouse pad is aimed at gamers who like a thick and rough mouse pad surface. The mouse pad is large and is designed for a higher level of friction between the mouse and the mouse pad. It will work with optical or laser mice and has a thick non-slip base.

The mouse pad is called the SteelSeries NP+ and will be available online starting in March for $24.99. I much prefer slippery and thin mouse pads myself and SteelSeries offers those as well.
