HTC EVO 4G aka HTC Supersonic is official

Sprint announced the first 4G phone for the United States dubbed HTC EVO 4G. The HTC EVO 4G is the long rumored and highly anticipated HTC Supersonic.
The HTC EVO 4G features a 4.3 inch touchscreen, two cameras including one 8MP, Wifi, 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, HDMI out, compass, proximity sensor, motion sensor, Bluetooth, microSD card slot (up to 32GB) and Android 2.1.

4G networks (WiMAX) deliver 10x the speed of 3G networks, but of course like in the beginning with 3G networks the coverage is limited. Sprint 4G is currently rolled out to 25 cities across the United States. We are not just talking big cities. If you are lucky and live in say, Wichita Falls, Texas, you got 4G.
